WordPress allows you to upload, save, and display a wide range of file types (media). The most frequent file types are images, videos, and audio files, however, WordPress can also manage document files, spreadsheet files, and code samples (amongst others).

To upload media, check that the necessary file permissions are configured in your WordPress installation for the wp-content directory.
